Let Me Love You is a must have vocal from the late 90's. It's still a huge record in NY and is a bonafide Shelter classic. Would also get run at Body & Soul, by Louie Vega and really everybody on the deep scene in NY & Jersey in that era. Shanan's voice is sweet and sultry over that so so fat bass line that just keeps driving the track and the dance floor forward.

Outstanding music... I'm just here to add some comments about the later pressings. I'm pretty sure mine is the 2017 prssing (although I'm unsure how to tell it from the 2015 issue). The all important A side sound good enough - the instrumental get crackly towrds the end though. But, as noticed below on the 2015 pressing, B2 has annoying crackly sounds that certainly distarct from the music (more than the odd pop or crackle). I'd still take a punt on it as the A side sounds good enough. At around this time (2015-17), above board distribution were distributing reissues of countless classic and hard to find house records. The quality was very hit and miss - even though they always claimed they were remastered from og tapes - and I imagine a lot of devoted house heads will still long to find og copies. Of course, they are a lot cheaper to obtain.

Seriously one of the best deep house releases ever if not definately top 10, The simplicity but depth and warmth of the vocals just takes you on a trip from start to finish, Everybody should know about this track, But luckily it's charm is in the hearts of true house lovers. My only lil problem with this track is its difficulty to mix, The track doesn't get into full swing until the first chorus where the hi hat takes effect, It's gona take some serious tune selections to work around this one, Let me love you is lower bpm than typical 122-127 deep house range probably talking about 115, Master it in the mix and it will be a track that'l stay with you forever.
